2010 UVSA Midwest Collective Philanthropy Project *FINISHED*

This year we are once again supporting the UVSA-MW Midwest Collective Philanthropy Project.  UVSA-MW is the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of the Midwest and acts as a sort of umbrella group for all the VSA’s in the midwest United States.

Each year they choose an organization to focus all the midwest’s effort on.  This way the charity gets much more support than if we were alone.

This year the CCP (Collective Philanthropy Project) is the Vietnamese Heritage Foundation.  Basically this organization is striving to make a record of Vietnamese Americans history and heritage.  They will document their journey to this country as they escaped from communism and war before it is too late.

MSU VSA Donations

We have had a donation box at our meetings and will continue to do this for you to donate anything you can give.  You can also donate directly to any of the e-board members.  Please contact us if you wish to donate but cannot make it to the meetings.

Some of our events are benefiting this charity such as Nail Night.  So coming out to these events is a way of donating.

We are trying to raise $750 for this charity.

So come on out to VSA and in doing so you will be helping out our charity as well!

Would just like to thank everyone that donated and let you know the project is done.   We have raised the $750 we pledged to donate to the CPP for this year!

Of course you can still donate to VSA! Just contact us if you wish to do so.  We always need the help and can put the money to good use.
